Brian Frus is an artist and educator. He started working with glass in 1996 and has loved the medium and surrounding community ever since. He currently runs the Glass Art program at Jacksonville University in Florida as Assistant Professor of Glass Art. Notably, he held leadership positions at two prestigious public access glass schools before returning to teach at his undergraduat Alma Mater—he was the Director of Eduction at Urban Glass in New York City, and the Assistant Facilities Manager and Hot Shop Coordinator at the Pittsburgh Glass Center. His BFA is from Jacksonville University and his MFA is from Rochester Institute of Technology; both degreen in Studio Arts with concentrations in Glass. He is an active member of the Glass Art Society.
